The Automated Crossing Electroniguard, often abbreviated to ACE, is an antagonist from the episode "Ay, Ay, A.I." It is a high-tech, artificially-intelligent "don't walk" sign, designed to be efficient in letting people safely cross the street and making crossing guards such as Mertha obsolete. Mayor Meyer had purchased several ACEs to be placed around the city.
