Anthony is a recurring character in Hamster & Gretel. Described as Kevin's confident buddy, he first appeared in "Micromanager", where he works at Short Burger and met Kevin as his accompanying colleague. They once competed for Employee of the Month.

Unaware that Micromanager, Anthony's boss, was a villain, Anthony and Kevin help him build a robot so he could destroy Tall Burger.

Physical appearance

Anthony is a somewhat portly guy with a dark skin complexion and slightly pronounced muscles, who is about the same height as Kevin. He has short, black, curly flat top hair, thick, black eyebrows, and big lips. Anthony also wears a pair of clear glasses with a white frame.

Anthony is shown to wear a red t-shirt with a large, orange stripe and orange collar, as well as grayish blue ankle-length pants, and sky-blue and white sneakers.

When he works at Short Burger, Anthony wears a yellow visor hat with a burger logo in the middle. He also wears a white T-shirt with red stripes and has a red belt. His pants and shoes remain the same as in his casual outfit.

Personality

Anthony is confident which means he believes he can do anything. He is also very competitive, as he competed with Kevin for the title of Employee of the Month, as well as a free milkshake. Similar to Kevin, Anthony appears to be a bit jealous of his little sister for getting more attention from his family than he does.

Skills and abilities

Anthony has cashier and grilling skills, and is up for a competition confident that he can win. Anthony also has adequate knowledge on how to build machines when following the instructions, as seen when he and Kevin were tasked by Micromanager to build the legs for the Macromanager mech (although he doesn't seem to know what a hex bolt is, and had used chewing gum instead to fasten those parts like Kevin did).

History

Season 1

In "Micromanager", when Kevin went to Short Burger for his job, he met Anthony. They began to compete for the title of Employee of the Month, with a $100 bonus both were interested in. Eventually, they were tasked by their boss with building "high tech frying machines", with the first to finish getting a free milkshake, adding another later of competitiveness. Once finished, however, the frying machines actually turn out to be robot legs, which began advancing on their own towards the office of their boss.

Anthony and Kevin go warn their boss in person about it, but as it turns out, their boss, who's revealed to be shrunken down and going by the name Micromanager, had intended to get his employees to construct parts for his giant mech, the Macromanager, to literally destroy his former work environment at Tall Burger. As a tired Hamster and Gretel try to stop Micromanager, asking for a weak spot due to being too sore to hit hard, Anthony and Kevin remembered they used gum as a adhesive while assembling portions of the robot and highlight them as weak points. After Micromanager is stopped, the two wonder if they would still get a milkshake.

When Kevin and Anthony first met, they got off to a competitive start, working hard for the title of Employee of the Month and get the $100 bonus. While the two were already somewhat friendly with each other, the two earned each other's respect further as they got to learn about each other more, and became a more friendly competition: this is also showcased when they worked together to build robot legs for Micromanager (under the pretense of frying machines) with a free milkshake for the person to finish first, as they begin shouting "milkshake mine" in unison. At the defeat of Micromanager, they became very good friends, bonding while once again shouting "milkshake mine" after wondering if they'll still get a free milkshake.

Anthony and Kevin do share a couple traits: having the same height, a little sister that gets more attention than them, and similar ideas on how to solve things. Traits like these might have helped on them becoming friends.
