Chibi Tiny Tales is a comedy series of (typically) 1-minute shorts produced by Disney's social media, and occasionally featured on the Disney Channel. Following and most likely inspired by Big Chibi 6: The Shorts, Chibi Tiny Tales broadens the horizon and features comedic, light-hearted shorts of a multitude of shows and movies in a chibi-esque, anime-inspired style on the Disney Channel, starting with Amphibia as the series debuts on June 7, 2020. Occasionally, series tend to cross over in certain shorts.
Hamster & Gretel also got a couple Chibi Tiny Tales shorts for three consecutive weeks, from September 24, 2022 to October 8, 2022. All three shorts feature Hamster and Gretel battling with Professor Exclamation, who, by the time these shorts have premiered, only appeared in the first episode of Hamster & Gretel.
The Chibi Tiny Tales series has received a spinoff series called Chibiverse, premiering June 30, 2022. Chibiverse consists of 22-minute episodes featuring previously released Chibi Tiny Tales shorts, bridged with segments that form a short storyline for the episode and feature a multitude of characters from other shows crossing over, not unlike House of Mouse. A typical Chibiverse episode features a couple hosts from one or two series on stage, presenting shorts to a crowd of characters and promising a special event to wrap up the episode, but a problem occurs that has to be solved before the episode reaches the end.
Hamster & Gretel would also be featured in Chibiverse, but did not get to do so until the third episode, "The Great Chibi Mix-Up!", released on October 8, 2022, which features two of the Hamster & Gretel-themed Chibi Tiny Tales shorts at the time, and also features a cameo of Hamster and Gretel in one of the bridging segments.

Cameos from other Disney series[]
- "Museum Mayhem" features a statue of Milo Murphy from Milo Murphy's Law without arms, in the vein of the Venus de Milo. It also features a painting of Diogee, also from Milo Murphy's Law, as well as a painting of Shrimpy, the mascot of Seabrook High from the ZOMBIES movies.
- "Rollercoaster Romance" features a multitude of cameos in the first couple of seconds. The short starts with Cricket Green from Big City Greens, Luz Noceda from The Owl House, and Anne Boonchuy and Polly Plantar from Amphibia riding the rollercoaster, and as the view pans down to ground level, Kevin and Hiromi are seen passing Bill Green, also from Big City Greens. As Kevin motions to the ferris wheel, the cabins also contain cameos: one cabin is boarded by Luz Noceda and Amity Blight (both from The Owl House), another by Alice Green and Heinz Doofenshmirtz (from Big City Greens and Phineas and Ferb respectively), and a third by Perry the Platypus (also from Phineas and Ferb) in his lonesome.
- In "Laundry Day", the first outfit Hamster and Gretel try are costumes of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. The last costumes they put on (before they choose to get their superhero outfits early) are of Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher.
- As "Binocular Blues" is a crossover between Hamster & Gretel, Phineas and Ferb, and Milo Murphy's Law, it also includes characters from the latter two shows aside from Hamster, Gretel, and the aliens' U.F.O., namely Phineas Flynn, Ferb Fletcher, Candace Flynn, Linda Flynn-Fletcher, Milo Murphy and Diogee.
- As "Super Pet Pals" is a crossover between Hamster & Gretel, Phineas and Ferb, and Milo Murphy's Law, it also includes characters from the latter two shows aside from Hamster, Professor Exclamation, Tina, CopyCat, La Cebolla, The Destructress, FistPuncher, a robber-like character that prior only appeared on promotional artwork and during the theme song, El Luchador, and Tobor; namely Perry the Platypus, Heinz Doofenshmirtz, Mitch, Derek and Igor.
Hamster & Gretel appearances in other shorts[]
- Hamster, Gretel and Kevin make an appearance in "Happy Birthday, Disney Channel!", a 2-minute short that celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Disney Channel. Hamster and Gretel appear to lift up the cauldron used by Eda Clawthorne and Alex Russo to stir the cake dough, and by Lilith to let Hooty taste it. The improbable duo accidentally spill some of it onto Kevin, before Moon Girl, Devil Dinosaur and Casey take over. Hamster is also seen at the end when the cake is finished, among several other Disney Channel stars.
- The Phineas and Ferb short "Life with Linda" also contains cameos from Milo Murphy's Law and Hamster & Gretel. In the latter series's case, Professor Exclamation destroys a bridge that happens to be on Linda's route to the antique shop. This bridge gets repaired by Hamster and Exclamation gets defeated by Gretel, conveniently before Linda arrives and crosses the bridge.

In the end, Kiff awards the winner of the quiz show, Launchpad, with the minivan anyway, and with Kevin still inside, Launchpad crashes it into the contestant booths. As Hamster extinguishes the resulting fire with Vasquez, Launchpad comments on Hamster's voice (a nod to how Hamster and Launchpad are voiced by the same person, Beck Bennett). | ||||
