Coach Mendez, is a character in Hamster & Gretel. He is the PE coach of Eastside Elementary School, the school that Gretel and Bailey attend.

Season 1[]

Coach Mendez is first seen in the beginning of "Two Girls, A Guy and the Council of Düm", overseeing a dodgeball match with Gretel, Bailey and Nordle on one side, and Leroy on the other. After a flubbed formation with Bailey and Nordle, Leroy catches the ball as thrown by Gretel, causing Mendez to announce Gretel is out. Not soon after, both Bailey and Nordle are hit, causing Mendez to declare Leroy the winner.

In "Nano a Nano", Coach Mendez interrupts Tucker's tormenting of Kelly as he announces to the class that they'll begin a basketball match, which he specifies he has not given his students any training in this sport whatsoever. When Kelly's inexplicable cyborg arm (which, unbeknownst to anyone was made by multiplying nanobots) not only catches the ball Tucker had thrown, but also manages to score a three-pointer by ricocheting the ball off of Tucker's face, Mendez was cheering along with the students.
