• The logo on the store's façade appears similar to that of a comic store in Milo Murphy's Law episode "Love Toboggan", known as "Comics!" The character Neal is employed there, which Sara Murphy, Milo's sister, has a crush on, which in turn can be likened to Kevin's crush on Hiromi.
