Hamster & Gretel Wiki
Hamster & Gretel Wiki

Crimson Haste, also referred short-hand to as Haste, is a villain in the Hamster & Gretel episode "Crimson Haste Makes Waste". She has the ability to run so fast that one is unable to see her when she passes by. She runs a delivery service called Hasty Delivery, which delivers goods she steals from the Dream Mall.

Physical appearance[]

Crimson Haste is a younger, middle-aged woman with short brown hair in a bob cut. She wears a orange form-fitting undershirt and green shorts that provide easy mobility. She has matching green knee pads for protection, as well as red, strappy boots with green accents. Her red Hasty Delivery jacket allows her to announce her arrival for her customers, while her pink gloves and teal wing-like mask complete her coordinated and functional look.

Personality[]

Crimson Haste is cocky with her powers. She knows she is easily faster than everyone else on the planet, and her personality matches this.

Powers and abilities[]

  • Supernatural speed - Crimson Haste's main ability is her speed. She can easily run faster than both Hamster and Gretel's enhanced speed, and can even switch into "turbo mode" to run faster than the speed of sound.
  • Fire Trail - When Crimson Haste runs, she leaves a fire trail behind her.

History[]

After 35 failed startups and three bankruptcies, Crimson Haste found her calling creating her own delivery service. Named "Hasty Delivery" with #heelsoffire, she stole items, sold, and delivered them for cheaper prices.

One day, she ran straight through Hiromi, Fred, Anthony, and Kevin as they were filming a Mustanchup commercial for a contest. After analyzing the footage, Fred and Kevin realized it was Crimson Haste, who had escaped from Hamster and Gretel a month ago. Hamster and Gretel brushed it off, making excuses that Hamster had just eaten a big burrito and the sun was in Gretel's eyes. After noting she hit the mall every day at 2:00, they decided to catch footage of her in the act so she could be arrested.

Later that day, Crimson Haste ran through the gang as they were filming their Mustanchup commercial again. Hamster and Gretel caught footage of her, but Crimson Haste stole the camera. They chased her throughout the city, but Crimson Haste ultimately proved way too fast for both of them.

Kevin ordered the exact make and model of the camera and asked for it to be delivered to the middle of an empty fountain in the mall. Crimson Haste arrived on the scene with the camera. However, Hamster and Gretel showed up, taking the camera for Kevin to film. After slipping a bit, Crimson Haste got out of the fountain, and switched to turbo mode, but the Mustanchup hardened like concrete from her heat trail. They used this opportunity to throw a ranch costume on Crimson Haste, including her, Hamster, and Gretel in the Mustanchup commercial. She was then taken to prison.

Trivia[]

  • Crimson Haste shares some similarities with an earlier, minor, currently unnamed villain, who prior appeared in the beginning of "Superhero Sibling Rivalry", as well as on a poster with many major villains. Both are female villains that can run really fast and wear reddish clothes.
