Ernie Baker, also referred to as Ernie the Evil Baker or simply Ernie, is a minor antagonist from the Hamster & Gretel episode "For Whom the Belle Trolls". He used to run a small business called "Ernie's Divorce Cakes", but decided to go on a path of villainy when no one came to buy any of his divorce cakes. He's been given a more significant role in the episode "Paging Doctor Potatini" as its central antagonist.

Ernie is dressed as a pastry chef, with a traditional chef's uniform: white chef's hat, white chef's coat, beige apron, olive green pants, and black loafers. He has a full, lightly stubbled beard.

Skills and abilities

As a former pastry chef, Ernie can bake cakes. He uses a flying vehicle to allow him to throw his divorce cakes at his victims. He is also capable of baking cakes of enormous size, such as the one he was going to use to cover the entire city.

History

Season 1

Ernie is first seen in the beginning of "For Whom the Belle Trolls", in which he attacks the city by throwing his unsold divorce cakes to everyone from a flying vehicle that resembles a flatbed car. As Hamster and Gretel arrive to foil his plans, Ernie flies up to a building, which has a giant catapult with an enormous divorce cake loaded onto the roof. Ernie plans to launch this cake onto the whole city. He cuts the rope, causing the cake to fly out of orbit.

By the time the giant divorce cake falls back into orbit, Hamster and Gretel have already tied up Ernie with a bow, so they fly back up to prevent the cake from messing up the whole city. After successfully doing so, Ernie is handed over to the police.
