"Everybody Loves Main Computer" is the second segment of the sixteenth episode of the second season of Hamster & Gretel, and the eighty-ninth episode overall. It is paired with "No Powers Day" and premiered on Disney Channel on March 16, 2025.[2][3]
Kevin and Gretel find Main Computer, who has been attempting to start a new life since their previous encounter. Kevin allows him to stay with them in secret, as the two form a bond.
Plot[]
While returning home from purchasing takeout food, Kevin, Hamster, and Gretel discover Main Computer hiding behind their trash cans. After he explains to them that he has been struggling to begin a new life and fears that he will be decommissioned for escaping from the space station, Kevin allows Main Computer to stay with the Grant-Gomez family as their servant. Sometime later, however, Kevin and Main Computer form a bond that eventually evolves into Kevin taking advantage of Main Computer, much to the concern of Hamster and Gretel.
During a grocery shopping trip, Commander Huxley spots Main Computer and begins to pursue him. Taking refuge in Cliffside Park, Kevin and Main Computer attempt to ride a bicycle over an unfinished bridge, but Kevin ends up in peril. Main Compuer begins to flee, only to later return to save him. Despite his efforts, Main Computer also begins to fall off the cliff, leading to Hamster and Gretel―who have been arguing over whether Hamster is Gretel's sidekick or vice versa―to rescue them.
Despite being rescued, Huxley still manages to capture Main Computer; though instead of decommissioning him, she informs him that he will be placed in storage for several months before being installed in a new space station. As she prepares to leave, she informs Kevin, Hamster, and Gretel that the origin of the meteors they saved the previous space station from will arrive within the next few weeks.

Background information[]
Trivia[]
- This episode takes place over seven months after "The More The Meteor".
- Main Computer is the fourth ally to know of Hamster and Gretel's superhero identities, following Abuelita ("Abuelita's World"), Bailey ("My Invisible Friend"/"The Bitter Sitter") and Tobor ("Tobor or Not Tobor").
- Main Computer is also the second one to simply identify the duo's two identities, first being Tobor ("Tobor or Not Tobor").
- It is also the fifth time someone learns about Hamster and Gretel's superhero identities overall.
- Hamster breaks the fourth wall by mentioning that his name comes first in the theme song.
Allusions[]
- Everybody Loves Raymond - The title of this episode is likely a reference to the title of this TV series.
- Kim Possible - The restaurant name "Señor Senior Taco" sounds very similar to the name of the villains Señor Senior, Sr. and his son Señor Senior, Jr. from this other well-known Disney Channel series.
- Phineas and Ferb - Ferb is depicted among the other caricature drawings at the caricature stand during the Main Computer song.
- E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial - Nearing the episode's climax, Kevin and Main Computer try to escape from Commander Huxley and the military force with a bike, the same way Elliott and E.T. escape from the authorities. Main Computer cycling while wearing a red hoodie and Kevin stationed in the basket while wearing a cloth also mimic Elliott and E.T. respectively. The "flying bicycle" scene is also homaged when Kevin and Main Computer leap off the bridge in Cliffside Park.
Continuity[]
- This episode shows the fate of Main Computer after the events of "The More The Meteor".
