The Exclamation Bots are antagonists that appear infrequently in Hamster & Gretel. They are an army of robots created by Professor Exclamation, typically used for public attacks and takeovers. The army is large in numbers, and the robots themselves are big, which would ensure that a crowd would obey Professor Exclamation's wishes. However, in spite of that, they are easily beaten by Hamster and Gretel with their super strength, which is something Exclamation accounted for in his first appearance.
Physical appearance[]
Each Exclamation Bot appears as a bulky, gray robot, with a large screw head-like helmet resting on top of its head. Each of their faces feature glowing yellow eyes, elongated pupils, frowning eyebrows and a perpetually frowning mouth, which glows yellow and shows a red soundwave when speaking. Their bodies also feature a large, yellow-glowing exclamation mark, and they also have thin, articulated arms with sledge hammerheads for hands. The Exclamation Bots also have one ball wheel each to move on the ground, despite their ability to fly.
Abilities[]
It is unknown exactly what kind of powers the Exclamation Bots possess, but they are likely stronger than typical human beings and able to destroy building with their hammer-like hands. They can also fly and hover above the ground. However, they are not sturdy enough to withstand Hamster and Gretel's super-strength, and in fact get destroyed too easily by them; which is why Exclamation first uses them as a distraction for Hamster and Gretel, and only deploys them again when the two are absent and later de-powered. Unfortunately, the robots aren't exactly smart, either, as two of them get distracted easily when Fred poses a philosophical question upon them, resulting in a fight.
History[]
The Exclamation Bots first appear in "Empower Failure", deployed by Professor Exclamation to attack city hall whilst the entire town is attending the Duck Boyz concert, in order to challenge the new superheroes in town, Hamster and Gretel. After opening with a Robot Punch, Hamster and Gretel beat the robot army easily; unfortunately for them, however, the robots merely serve as a distraction in order for Professor Exclamation to easily capture the two in an unbreakable energy cage. Having served their purpose, the Exclamation Bots do not appear again in the episode.
The Exclamation Bots reappear once again in the Season 1 finale, "Exclamation Strikes Back". After Professor Exclamation orders Hamster and Gretel via a video message delivered by FistPuncher and The Destructress at city hall to meet him at the creepy doll factory (using Kevin as leverage), an army of Exclamation Bots surround everyone at city hall, rendering them unable to escape. As Professor Exclamation appears in his elbow mech suit after draining Hamster and Gretel of their superpowers and orders the citizens to destroy city hall and remake it in his image, the robots keep surrounding the crowd to ensure Exclamation gets his wish. However, Bailey and Fred, who were caught in the midst of this takeover as well, manage to easily escape after the latter poses the philosophical question of whether a tree falling in a forest would make a sound if no one is around to hear it to two of the Exclamation Bots, as the two robots do not agree with each other and end up fighting. After Fred and Bailey rescue Hamster, Gretel and Kevin, and return to city hall, Fred uses Professor Exclamation's password to hack into the Exclamation Bots' programming with her laptop and shuts them down, freeing the citizens from Exclamation's demolition order.
