Itsy Bitsy is a villain in the Hamster & Gretel episode "No Sprain, No Gain." After failing to fill a jewel thief opening, she encountered the same aliens that gave Hamster and Gretel their superpowers, merging her with a nearby spider and giving her the ability to shoot spiderwebs from her underarms. With this new ability, she attempted to secure a South American spider broach, seeing it as a chance at redemption.

Itsy Bitsy is a tall, slender, young woman with grayish blue eyes, a fair skin complexion, lilac eyeshadow and deep pink lipstick; her mouth has a distinct V-shape and her lips feature a pronounced Cupid's arrow. While typically wearing a mask that hides her hair, Itsy Bitsy is revealed to have lavender-colored, chin-length hair with deep pink tips. Thanks to her superpowers, Itsy Bitsy can reshape her hairlocks to resemble spider legs (each "leg" tipped pink), revealing a widow's peak and two more pairs of eyes that are normally hidden under her bangs. Although her "spider leg" hair and her extra pairs of eyes are results of being merged with a spider by the aliens, Itsy Bitsy already had lavender hair with pink tips prior to her encounter with them.

Itsy Bitsy's supervillain outfit consists of a purple, sleeveless bodysuit with a neck collar and a purple, form-fitting mask that covers the upper half of her face; both adorned with deep pink markings reminiscent of spiders or spider legs. Itsy Bitsy's mask also features two small horns that bear a slight resemblance to a spider's jaws. The rim of her mask is angular and features fang-like triangles. Itsy Bitsy also wears arm-length gloves and knee-length boots, both in a burgundy color and with a jagged rim; her gloves feature a couple more pink markings.

Before Itsy Bitsy was given superpowers, she wore a dark purple suit with a purple mask and boots; fit for jewel thievery, as she was to be tested for certification as jewel thief. She also wore a black harness, as she was to be carried into the crime scene-to-be with a rope.

Powers and abilities[]

Thanks to the aliens, Itsy Bitsy has been merged with a spider and received the ability to shoot spider silk and create spiderwebs from her armpits. With this ability, she's able to spin webs to ensnare her opponents, and wrap them in silk to immobilize them further; even Hamster and Gretel, due to her silk being about 2% stronger than either of them. She also can use her silk to traverse quickly around town by swinging herself from building to building like a skilled gymnast. Her merger with the spider seems to have made her super agile and athletic, and a very adept jewel thief; which is ironic, since she has not yet become a qualified jewel thief due to a failure at the final test prior to receiving her superpowers (implying her thieving skills used to be below average).

Itsy Bitsy has a couple of weaknesses, though. Her spider webs can be dissolved with lemon juice, stated to be nature's solvent, and her armpits can be clogged up with Pore Blocker 4000 deodorant, disabling her ability to shoot web from her armpits. Like most other people, Itsy Bitsy is susceptible of temporary blindness from bright lights, such as the flashlight Kevin has used against her to hold her off.

Trivia[]

  • Itsy Bitsy shares many of her abilities with Spider-Man and similar heroes from the Marvel universe. This is alluded to even further, when Itsy Bitsy reveals that her current name wasn't the first choice she had, but had to settle on it when she discovered many other spider-themed heroes and villains already exist with a trademarked name.
    • Incidentally, this may even include Spider-Man himself, since Hamster & Gretel takes place in the same universe as Phineas and Ferb, which had a crossover special that included Spider-Man among several other Marvel characters in "Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel".
  • Itsy Bitsy's spider silk appears to be about as strong as the film roll trap from Arthouse in "An Arthouse Divided". Like her silk, the film is 2% stronger than Gretel.
