La Cebolla is a villain in the Hamster & Gretel episode "La Ballad of La Cebolla". She was a former actress for the telenovela La Fresas de Amor, whose character was written out of the show due to her inability to cry on cue. She had tried several onion-related remedies in an attempt to make herself cry, with no success, when she suddenly got the ability to talk to onions thanks to a beam from the sky shining upon her (this turns out to be from the same aliens that gave Hamster and Gretel their superpowers).
Due to her lost stardom, La Cebolla desires the world to cry for her.
Physical appearance[]
La Cebolla is a tall, slim yet curvaceous woman with light olive skin, brown eyes, and dark, arched eyebrows. Her long dark brown hair includes bangs and is styled to end in a spiral. It also curls up in two locks on the side of her face, obscuring her ears. She wears a sleeveless leaf-green and maroon dress. The outside part of the skirt resembles a halved red onion, and the inside layer is green and made up of two diagonal layers, with a lighter green stripe outside the edges of said layers. The top part and bottom parts of her dress are separated by a belt with a yellow onion on it. She wears green elbow-high cuffs on her forearms and matching green knee-high high-heeled boots. Her hat is a red onion. Her makeup includes red lipstick and lavender eyeshadow. She has circular, golden earrings.

Personality[]
La Cebolla is a self-centered, vain person with a flair for dramatics. She loves to sing and perform and is obsessed with hogging the center of the attention. When the attention is taken away from her, such as when she got written out of the telenovela she starred in, she will go to desperate lengths to vindicate her worth to the producers and is not above being vindictive and petty to those uninvolved by misusing her own powers.
Powers and abilities[]
As the name implies, La Cebolla has the power to talk to and control varieties of onions. This includes not only the bulbs, but the stems and leaves as well. She can make them move and grow rapidly. The onions are fully sentient and can refuse her orders if they get angry with her.
As time passed, La Cebolla's powers grew. In "The Great American Telenovela," she was able to almost telekinetically use the onions to form weapons like giant hands.
La Cebolla also a variety of other onion-related powers:
- Onion Ring of Power - La Cebolla is able to throw a giant onion ring that will bind targets upon her command.
- Super Onion Breath - La Cebolla is able to exhale a rather pungent puff of onion scent, that can incapacitate anyone that comes into contact. When weakened by this bad onion breath, one can be cured by drinking some ice water with apple slices.
Weapons[]
- Onion Amplifier - La Cebolla had bought this device from an infomercial in order to speak to all the onions in the world in order to advance her goal. Again, as the name suggests, it can amplify anyone's voice so it can reach the hearing of every onion on earth. It is powered by draining the powers from a superhero, and appears to be able to contain said superhero as well.
