Throughout Hamster & Gretel, two mysterious aliens have been granting superpowers with their U.F.O. to a variety of characters and objects for Hamster and Gretel to fight with. Initially, no reason was stated, making this activity rather suspicious. However, in "Exclamation Strikes Back", they explain that these are supposedly to train Hamster and Gretel for another mysterious, extraterrestrial being who will become a threat in the second season. Despite this, some of the bestowed characters and objects were given powers by complete accident, and neither of the aliens bothered to fix their mistake; and some were even bestowed for fun rather than to train Hamster and Gretel.
This article lists many of the characters that were given superpowers by these aliens.
