The male alien is an unnamed, important recurring character in Hamster & Gretel. He and his female colleague, through their U.F.O., are the two aliens that have bestowed Hamster and Gretel with superpowers, as well as a plethora of other characters and things for Hamster and Gretel to oppose. Throughout the first season, it was relatively unknown why they were doing this, and why they skipped over Kevin, Gretel's older brother, but in the second season, it became apparent that they have been doing so in order to train Hamster and Gretel for a fight against an all-powerful foe by the name of Mordros the Annihilator.
Of the two aliens, the male is the more lethargic and easygoing. This often sparks an argument when the female alien points out something in a particular way that annoys him.
Physical appearance[]
The true appearance of both aliens are unknown. When Hamster, Gretel, Kevin and Hiromi meet them inside their U.F.O. in "Who's Afraid of Mordros the Annihilator?", the aliens use shadow puppetry on a filtered screen to portray themselves as blob-like creatures, with two tentacles and a hoop-shaped "head", alluding to a form of shapeshifting. The reasoning for this is supposedly because their true appearance would make anyone's head explode.
