Trivia[]
- Just like Gretel, Meli is also Venezuelan-American. Their mother Clarissa McPeck Rincón is of Venezuelan decent while her father Dan is of American decent.[6]
- Meli was also the inspiration for the name and appearance of Melissa Chase, a main character from Milo Murphy's Law, a previous show Dan Povenmire made along with Jeff "Swampy" Marsh. Their older sister Alex Povenmire was similarly the inspiration for Isabella Garcia-Shapiro from Phineas and Ferb, the latter show also featured a character named Melissa.
- On November 2, 2023, Meli was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Voice Performance in a Preschool, Children's or Young Teen Program.[7][8][9]
- Meli was coincidently born on the same day that the Phineas and Ferb episodes "Greece Lightning/Leave the Busting to Us!" premiered on Disney Channel.
