Mr. Chabner is a character in the Hamster & Gretel episode "Close Shave". He appeared as a substitute teacher at Gretel's class in Eastside Elementary School. Gretel had a "hero hunch" that Mr. Chabner is secretly evil, mostly due to his goatee. It turns out that Gretel was half-right, as that goatee was actually an evil sentient beard named Van Dyke, who possessed Mr. Chabner the whole time in search for the superhero Gretel.

Physical appearance[]

Mr. Chabner is a fair-skinned man with small, green eyes, a large nose, and a brown, receding hairline. Three long strands of hair grow from his left sideburn and hover over his balding forehead.

Personality[]

Mr. Chabner is described as mild-mannered. Due to him being possessed by Van Dyke for a majority of "Close Shave", it is unknown whether that could've been Van Dyke playing along, or if Mr. Chabner really is like that.
