This article is about a brand of popsicles shaped like people. You may be looking for the jingle about it.

People-Pops is an ice popsicle product made by the Human-Shaped Ice Pop Factory, which, as the name indicates, is shaped like people. It appears in the Hamster & Gretel episode "The Bitter Sitter", where it was advertized on TV. People-Pops come in four flavors, with each flavor shaped like a specific type of person and given a specific color:

  • Lemon, colored yellow and shaped like a doctor
  • Cherry, colored red and shaped like a nurse
  • Lime, colored green and shaped like a fireman
  • Grapes, colored purple and shaped like a police officer

Regardless of flavor, each People-Pop is also filled with red cherry syrup, creating the illusion of spilled blood when someone bites a popsicle's head off.

In "The Bitter Sitter", Hamster and Gretel-themed People-Pops are introduced, which are shaped and colored like the titular superhero duo. Due to the unique, multi-chromatic coloring, it is unknown what flavor these were supposed to be, but it can be assumed to be filled with cherry syrup as well, much like the regular People-Pops.

History[]

In "The Bitter Sitter", a commercial for People-Pops plays right after a solemn Gretel reveals to Kevin that Bailey knows about her secret and that she's upset about Gretel lying to her. After the commercial announces that Hamster and Gretel People-Pops are coming soon, Gretel laments that she and Bailey would've bought Hamster and Gretel People-Pops and bite their heads off together while sitting in their favorite tree.

As Lauren babysits Gretel and Bailey, she's being called by Lyle as FistPuncher for help, who reveals he has snuck inside the Human-Shaped Ice Pop Factory in order to destroy all the Hamster and Gretel People-Pops and steal the molds for it out of spite, but locked himself in the freezer. An annoyed Lauren hangs up, but when Lyle calls her again, she feels forced to help her brother out. She decides to drive Gretel and Bailey to the Human-Shaped Ice Pop Factory, as she gets them some People-Pops while freeing Lyle from the freezer.

While Bailey and Gretel wait in Lauren's car, an alarm in the factory goes off. Gretel decides to enter the building to see is Lauren is alright, when she spots FistPuncher and The Destructress, the latter carrying a box of Hamster and Gretel People-Pops. A battle then ensues between Gretel and FistPuncher, with the latter eventually trapped in a block of multi-colored ice. The Destructress tries to sneak away with the People-Pops, but Gretel manages to wrap a conveyor belt around her. When The Destructress explains she's only here to get her brother out of trouble and get some People-Pops for the kids she's babysitting, Gretel decides to let her go, realizing that Lauren and The Destructress are the same person. Gretel flies off returning to Lauren's car, as The Destructress reluctantly decides to free FistPuncher from his trap.

This turns out to be non-beneficial, as when Lauren returns to the car with some People-Pops for Gretel and Bailey, FistPuncher decides to retain his original plan, proudly announcing in front of them that he's going to destroy the Hamster and Gretel People-Pops molds that he has stolen. This causes Bailey to spring into action, snagging the box with molds from FistPuncher and returning them to the factory, causing FistPuncher to pursue her. Just as FistPuncher has Bailey cornered, an exasperated Lauren tackles him and locks him up in the freezer.

Gretel, Bailey and Lauren are then seen enjoying some People-Pops at home just when Dave and Carolina come back.
