Phil is a minor character in Hamster & Gretel. He is Nordle's lawyer, and typically shows up after Nordle has threatened to sue someone earlier in the episode; both times this has happened in Hamster & Gretel, however, things have been sorted out already, meaning that Phil's presence is no longer required. Phil would then remind Nordle that he would still be billed for the inconvenience.

He first appeared in "A Mammoth Problem", where Gretel was being sued for using the phrase "Let's make some fusion" (albeit mockingly), which Nordle had apparently trademarked. Phil then appeared in "When Life Gives You Lemons" to give Bailey a cease-and-desist for starting up her own lemonade company after signing a non-compete clause; this happened while he was away in Barbados, implying he was on a vacation that had to be cut short.
