Rodney Thunderpants is a cowboy-themed villain with electricity powers who appears in Hamster & Gretel.
Physical appearance[]
Rodney is a tall man with curly red hair, green eyes, and slightly pointy ears. He wears a yellow, typical cowboy outfit consisting of a yellow shirt with an orange collar and cuffs, blue pants, brown and gold boots, a yellow belt with an eagle buckle, and a gold cowboy hat with a yellow and blue triangle pattern on it. His shirt has orange lightning bolts on it, and his pants have yellow lightning bolts.
Personality[]
Rodney Thunderpants is a person who likes the archaic. He hates cellphones, seeing them pop up everywhere as time goes by, and wants people to go back to the age of cowboys. After the whole adventure in "Math Punch", though, Rodney may have found a new appreciation for them after the police found them so quickly with their GPS apps, as well as his lost horse Delilah.
When Gretel comments that he could've called himself Lightning-Rod, Rodney admits to the clever pun, mad at himself as he already printed business cards with the "Rodney Thunderpants" name.
Powers and abilities[]
- Electrokinesis: After being struck by lightning four times, Rodney gained the power to control electricity.
- Electrical Beam Emission - In addition to his finger bolts, Rodney can increase the intensity of his blasts to full beams of electricity.
- Electrical Bolt Projection - Rodney is able to create and project bolts of electricity, which he usually shoots from his finger guns.
- Electrical Force-Field Generation - Rodney can form a bubble of pure electricity.
- Electrokinetic Constructs - Rodney can create objects and other constructs out of electricity such as ropes and ramps.
- Electrokinetic Surfing - Rodney can manipulate electricity to increase his maneuverability. In his debut, Rodney rode down on a slide of lightning from the sky. By using this method of transportation, he can slide and gain speed faster than a normal human running.
- Electromagnetic Pulse Emission - Rodney can summon a huge electromagnetic pulse ball, which he nearly used to cut out power for the entire city.
- Lightning Summoning - Rodney can summon a bolt of lightning from the sky, which he used to briefly defeat Gretel.
- Agility: He is also quite agile, as he was able to run and jump across several roofs while Kevin was chasing him.
