"Stress Brawl" is the first segment of the fourth episode of the second season of Hamster & Gretel, and the sixty-fifth episode overall. It is paired with "I Love Luchie" and premiered on Disney Channel on September 21, 2024.[1] This episode has been released early on September 18, 2024 on Disney+.
Hiromi has been overworking herself and getting stressed lately, and her being awarded for the Plumber Pride Awards and practically having to organize her ceremony herself isn't exactly helping matters. Even stranger, things start to get sabotaged that oddly enough help Hiromi relieve her from her stress.
Plot[]
At Eastside High, an overworked Hiromi arrives to class with her stress ball when she learns that she won a Plumber Pride Award. However, upon realizing that she must organize her own ceremony on top of completing a group project alone, Hiromi's stress ball flies out the window, which is granted powers by the superpower-granting aliens. Meanwhile, Kevin believes Hiromi has forgiven him for standing her up during their date and wonders how he can get over it as well, with Hamster suggesting that he pretend to be dating someone else.
As preparations for the ceremony are underway, the food and DJ turn out to be disastrous, though Hiromi attempts to put a happy face on, further increaseing her stress, much to Fred's concern. However, a mysterious figure begins attacking the food, music, and decorations, puzzling Fred and relieving Hiromi. On the night of the ceremony, Kevin arrives with Pamela, which proves to be the final straw for Hiromi as her stress ball arrives as a monster and begins to wreak havock. Hamster and Gretel attempt to subdue the beast but to no avail. Fred then recognizes the stress ball and realizes that Hiromi has been bottling up her emotions and has been releasing them through the stress ball, which then attacked everything that upset Hiromi.
When the stress ball turns its attention to Fred, Hiromi reveals that she is irritated by Fred's constant criticism of her. This leads to the stress ball shrinking, prompting Hiromi to begin verbally venting about being under-appreciated and saying yes to everything thrown her way (and angry at Kevin for going out with another girl), which reverts the stress ball to its original state.

(walks away whistling) Gretel: Um, that's a bad plan. Hamster: Yeah, well, if you're taking relationship advice from a talking hamster, it's kind of on you. |
Fred: (sighs It's just like they say, 'The candle that burns twice as bright--' Reginald: 'Burns half as long.' Fred: You're really not part of this, Reginald. |
