History[]
Background[]
Veronica Hill grew up on a family dirt farm with a mother, father, brother, and sister; she appears to be the youngest between her and her two siblings. However, Veronica had desired to be a news reporter since she was a baby, to the point that some of her first words are "back to you at the studio". As a little child, Veronica received a stuffed teddy bear, which she named Bearbra Walters, and screams and cries into whenever times are tough. Even into adulthood, it's the only thing that helps to alleviate her anguish. On her 13th birthday party, Veronica also visited The Muddy Bess, a historic riverboat.
During her internship at Action News at the WHOA TV Studio, Veronica had met a man named Bob Enfantiberg, who desired to become mayor. Veronica and Bob used to date afterwards, but after Enfantiberg kept losing to taller, younger, cooler and non-balding mayoral candidates for ten years, Veronica ultimately decided to break up with him in favor of another man named Phil Youngerman (although it can be assumed she's not dating Phil anymore either).

Relationships[]
Bob Enfantiberg/Big Baby[]
Veronica used to be Bob's girlfriend when she was a mere starry-eyed news intern. However, as Bob kept losing to younger and taller mayoral candidates over the years, became a sore loser for his losing streak, and grew less attractive and balding, Veronica dumped him in favor of Phil Youngerman.
Bob re-entered her life, transformed into the villainous Big Baby, in "Abuelita's World". Veronica still appears to have some bitterness reserved for the literal man baby, given that she is not surprised in the slightest to see her ex-boyfriend become evil and appears to be straight up embarrassed at his childish behavior, clarifying that a lot of changes need to be made to Bob if she ever were to take him back. However, by the end of "Abuelita's World", Veronica notes that Bob appears to be more sensitive than she had remembered, struggling with her dating choices once more.
It appears that since then, Veronica may have patched up things with Bob, as the two were to show up at some kind of ceremony (possibly a wedding) at an altar, one month prior to the events of "La Sombrerona", complete with a cake with the two of them as cake toppers; however, Bob stood her up and Veronica was left alone at the altar, which Veronica has claimed it drained her of her happiness in a similar manner to how other people were drained of their happiness by La Sombrerona.
Van Dyke[]
Veronica has bitter feelings to Van Dyke during the events of "Over the Hill" when the sentient mustache, as Harrison Philtrum, had stolen her spot for promotion to lead serious correspondent, an occupation that Veronica had desired for years and was promised to get in that episode; the sudden reveal that her promotion would be declined left her with lot of anguish, to the point that she nearly decided on quitting. As Philtrum, he also joked that, if Veronica keeps up the positive attitude, the studio might promote her to weather—a position she absolutely despises, and being promoted to such being her greatest fear as revealed in "The Nightmarionette".
As such, Veronica has taken Van Dyke's actions in "Over the Hill" personally and is interested in why the mind-controlling facial hair had decided to steal her position away from her, which turns out is because he wants to get close to Mayor Meyer, and take control over his body to bring him closer to his second attempt in taking over the world (given that his previous attempt involving Gretel in "Close Shave" had failed).
During the intense second feud between Gretel and Van Dyke, who at this point had taken control of Bailey, Veronica figures to distract Van Dyke by asking him to comment on viewers believing his plans of world domination are lame and overdone.
